Cherished Grandmother of Karla, Darien, Shaquille, Jamal, Michael and Scott Alleyne and the late David Lord;

Great-grandmother of 4;

Sister of the late Caramel Smith, Jean Crichlow, Golda Burke and Leslie Smith;

Cousin of Sonia Garner, Lionel Edghill and the late Cyrillene Griffith (UK);

Aunt of Alister, Merlese, Juliet, Les, Sandra, Maxine, Idalia and the late Yvonne Barnes;

Mother-in-law of the late Lisle Alleyne and Valda Gittens;

Relative of the Browne, Weekes and Davis families (Stroude Land St Philip);

A Homegoing Service of Praise and Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Mignon Willmett GITTENS née Smith will take place in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Ruby, St Philip, on Thursday 9th April 2026 where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 pm for the Service immediately followed by the interment at the Church yard.

Her body will repose for viewing at the Church from 2:00 pm of Thursday until the commencement of the Service where floral tributes will be welcomed. Floral tributes may also be delivered to LE Smith Funeral Home, no later than 12:15 p.m on Thursday.

The organist and choir are kindly requested to attend.
