BROWNE née Walters – Isalene Eleanor, affectionately known as “Aunt Is”, “Issie”, “Nurse Browne”,

Aged 92; Resident of Supreme Comfort & Retirement Centre, Cane Vale, Christ Church and formerly of Wanstead Terrace, St. Michael. A retired Nurse and Pharmaceutical Representative, a Founding and Faithful Member of Abundant Life Assembly, entered peacefully into rest on 21st December 2025.

Daughter of the late Wilfred and Enid Walters;

Cherished Mother of Jacqueline (Jackie) Ferdinand;

Adoring Grandmother of Natalie Taylor (Daryl) and André Ferdinand (Kendra);

Great-Grandmother of Laila and Damian Taylor;

Beloved Sister of Marie-ann (Mary) Walcott (Barbados), Lucille Walters (deceased), Deborah DePeaza, Miriam (Esther) Alleyne, Cicely Branker, Marcia Gaskin and Gladys Walrond (all of USA);

Aunt of Stacey and Chenelle Walcott (Barbados), Stephanie Samuel (Gregory), Michelle James (Craig), Roger (Arlene), Ian and Shannon Alleyne and Derek Bynoe (Rhema) (all of USA);

Valued Mother-in-Law of Dr. Selwyn Ferdinand;

Godmother of Christopher Norville and Kevin Brathwaite;

Sister-in-Law of Caspar Walcott and Orville Branker;

Friend of Kathy Whitehall, Evie Gill, Icelma Fagan, Marcia and Trevor Marshall and many others at Abundant Life Assembly.

A Home-going Service to celebrate and honour the life of Isalene Eleanor Browne née Walters will take place at Abundant Life Assembly, Haynes Hill, St. Michael on Monday 5th January 2026, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 11:00am for the service. The cortege will then proceed to St. George Parish Churchyard for the interment.

Her body will repose for viewing at the Church from 10:000am until the commencement of the Service where floral tributes will be graciously accepted. Floral tributes may also be delivered to the LE Smith Funeral Home no later than 8:30 am on Monday.
