CLARKE Wilton Daniel, affectionately known as “Clarkie”.
Aged: 90;
Late of Far Rockaway, New York, USA and formerly of Chapel, St. Philip.
Retired Printing Specialist (New York City Department of Education).
Former part time Organist, Church Warden, Altar Server and Chorister of St. Luke Anglican Church and former Organist of both St. Stephen and St. Martin Churches (New York). A Past Mechanics Lodge Grand Master.
Son of the late Lance “Laurence” and Louise Clarke;
Husband of the late Hazel Glendora Clarke née Jones;
Cherished companion of the late Violate Allen;
Loving and proud father of Maria Clarke;
Brother of the late Dennis Clarke BSS, Laurence and Thelma Clarke, Madeline Clarke- Devonish and Seymour Waterman;
Uncle of Denise Devonish, Liburd Farrell, Philip and Kerwin Devonish, Deidra Sealy, Hadryn Waterman, Paula, Laura, Alvin, Greg, Nicole and Stefan Clarke;
Great-uncle of Calvert, Mieshia and Darnell Liburd, Jordan and Bailey Devonish, Angelina, Alexandrea, Alvin Jr., Kareena, Jarelle, Sariah and Lucas Clarke;
Cousin of Jeffrey Brathwaite and several others;

Following repatriation, a Thanksgiving Service for the life of Wilton Daniel CLARKE will take place at St. Luke Anglican Church, Brighton, St. George on Friday 29th May 2026, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. for the service, immediately followed by the interment in the Churchyard. His body will repose for viewing at the church from 2:00pm on Friday until the commencement of the service, where floral tributes will be graciously accepted. Floral tributes may also be delivered to LE Smith Funeral Home, no later than 12 noon on Friday.
The Organist and Church Choir are requested to attend.
