HINKSON née Puckerin – Patricia Edith. Affectionately Known as “Auntie Pat.”
Aged: 98
Late of Apple Drive, Union Development, St Philip and formerly of Massiah Street, St John. Leeds, United Kingdom and Faith and Love Senior Citizens Residence. Faithful member of the Church of The Holy Trinity, a former loyal chorister and member of the Woman’s Auxiliary.
Daughter of the late Josephine and Carlton Knight.
Widow of Cleophas Hinkson.
Beloved mother of Thelbert, Douglas and Gloria Puckerin, Wendie Teppett and the late Mavis Greenidge.
Grandmother of Sandra Puckerin (UK), Rodney, Roseann and Andrea Puckerin, Antoinette Inniss-Haycox (UK) and the late Robert Teppett.
Great Grandmother of Jordan, Courtney, Jebari, Matthias, Elise and Keleb.
Sister of Mavelle “Joe” Knight and the late Ruby, Udora, Mavis “Nay”, Aubrey and Gilbert Knight.
Aunt of many in the Knight and Puckerin families.
Mother-in-law of Marion and the late Shirley Puckerin.
Godmother to Chardelle and Grayson Belgrave.
Special friend of Grace Belgrave, The Rt. Rev Bishop Michael Maxwell and members of the Holy Trinity Church family and many others.
A Homegoing Service to celebrate the life of Patricia “Auntie Pat” Edith Hinkson née Puckerin will take place at the Church of The Holy Trinity, Ruby St Philip on Tuesday 20th February 2024, where relatives and friends are warmly invited to meet at 3.30 pm for the service, immediately followed by the interment in the Churchyard. Her body will be reposed for viewing at the church from 2:30 pm until the commencement of the service, where floral tributes will be greatly appreciated. Floral tributes may also be delivered to L E Smith Funeral Home no later than 1:00 pm on Tuesday.
The Organist and choir and members of the Woman’s Auxiliary are kindly asked to attend.
