MAYNARD – Marva Nadean affectionately known as “Nadine” former employee of the Casuarina Hotel and Brown Sugar Restaurant.
Aged 67.

Daughter of the late Delores Maynard and William Nurse;
Valued companion of Terry Smith;
Mother of Paula and Jillian Maynard and Jamar Alleyne;
Grandmother of Shadé Grazette (USA), Comesha Maynard-Inniss, Laprincia, Sosha and Tiffany Maynard, Quinshana Alleyne, Lachae Garnes and Jakari Alleyne;
Great Grandmother of 16;
Sister of Hazel, Michael, Selvis, Steven, and Desmond Maynard, the late Suzette Best and Wendy Maynard;
Aunt of Sonia, Kerry, Vanessa, Nico, Davia and many others;
Niece of many;
Relative of the Maynard and Nurse families;
Friend of many too numerous to mention.
A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Marva Nadean Maynard will take place at the Church of The Holy Trinity, Ruby, St. Philip on Thursday 20th June 2024 where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m for the Service. The cortege will then proceed to Bushy Park Cemetery for the interment. Her body will repose for viewing at the Church on Thursday from 2 pm until the commencement of the Service where floral tributes will be graciously accepted. Floral tributes may also be delivered to LE Smith Funeral Home no later than 12:30 pm. Mourning colours are optional.
